Along with Winterfylleth, Wodensthrone have been spearheading a resurgence in Brtitsh black metal over the last couple of years, proving that we are capable of quality black metal here in Blighty. Epic and expansive, this is an album of sweeping soundscapes, created by tremelo picking and atmospheric keys, conjuring images of the lost pre-christian, pagan England that the title refers to.
